  Light sensitivity of formalin & DMDM hydantoin in shampoo with transparent package

  Does light exposure reduce the efficacy of formalin or DMDM hydantoin in shampoo that has a transparent package and no UV absorber?

  I have not seen this in practice & have tested numerous shampoos/conditioners that are exactly as you describe

  @Perry that’s good. Have you tested shampoos with formalin too? 
  Was there any side effect from transparent package & no UV absorber in shampoo with formalin?

  I am using formalin and that may be more sensitive in everything than DMDM hydantoin i think.

  I tested a few formulas using formalin but the vast majority were DMDM Hydantoin

  No, not due to preservative breaking down anyway
