I had planned to use 2% Hydrolyzed Soy Protein in a hair conditioner recipe we are working on and have been served a curve-ball where our current suppliers are no longer stocking Soy or the commonly used (I thought) Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein…….however they can supply Hydrolyzed Rice Protein which seems amazingly expensive.

Anyone had experience with Hydrolyzed Soy Protein in hair conditioner formulations? Is it commonly used at 2%, or at a lower level?

    Thanks.

Have you tried contacting Singera .. they have many, many hydrolysed proteins to choose from including the ones you mentioned.
