At first I would like to say hello to all forum members. I have a problem with formula of the hair gel. I used 0,5% of hydroxyethylcelluse in the final product and I would like to change this raw material for something else. Do you have maybe any suggestions or propositions?

hi, maybe have a look at Kleosol 100 XT (Polyquaternium 37). from Rheolab UK. At about 0.6-1.3% it will make a clear gel in water, which will remain clear with addition of ethyl alcohol if you use alcohol. It has a very nice feel on the skin and of course also on the hair. good luck edwardgaunt@gmail.com

There are many gel formers for hair gel - you need to be more precise when asking the question.
