  Can food grade dyes be used for liquid dishwashing detergents?

  Yes i many time used and still using food grade color in handwash dishwash surfactant system and they never get faded in adjusted ph range from 5 to 8 ph o observed mostly if ph raise more then 8 colour changes 
  They last more then 2 years .
  If you want to choose then suggested you to try shampoo based or surfactant based colurs ph  stable. Every company has mention there ph on its datasheet.
  Check before use.

  Yes, I am considering shampoo based surfactants.  Thanks a lot for confirming about food-grade dyes. I have been using them for a while and tested in sunlight too.
