  conditioner

  I tried making a conditioner that I saw on a vendor formulary… not sure what went wrong.  It is fluffy, textured, and didn’t really thicken. Help..

  HEC-0.4%
  glycerin-3%
  EDTA-0.13%
  Ceteareth-20- 0.5%
  Cetyl Alcohol -2.5%
  Stearyl Alcohol -2.5%
  dimethicone 3%
  preservative-1.0%
  Cetrimonium Chloride -3.0%

  Can you share the method? 

  (Have you neutralized the HEC? What is the final pH?)

  Don’t use EDTA with cationics
