  AHA and BHA cleansers

  Question: Do AHAs and BHAs have to be left on the skin to work? I own a facial cleanser with glycolic acid and I wanted to know if it will have any true effect on my skin since it is being rinsed off versus my lactic acid serum that I apply afterward

  @itsstephrich AHA and BHA give effect in both forms; cleansers and creams. Anyway glycolic acid and lactic acid are both AHA
