Oh, looks like I want to create a hair conditioner - but I like to formulate a skin care “gel” without any SLS or SLES, but the same kind of “feeling” like the conditioner I made. Is that possible? I have tried natural polymers like xanthan, guar, agar and cellulose.

but Oliwax LC is emulsifier - but maybe not strong enought for emulsify drops of glyserol and maybe a bit lauryl glucoside (thick paste) - that other emulsifier could I add to make a stabile cleanser?

Perry - is this list not “credible”? If not - why?

Because pH 3,2-3,5 “burns” when I spray on wounds and skinproblems

How much can I raise the pH after fermentation of my fluid (mainly different lactic acid bacteria) so it is safe to spray it on my horse?

More about probiotics: The live bacteria in for example kombucha are in a “sleeping” mode when it is in the bottle because of pH of 3,2 (and also because it is no food for the bacteria) It turns alive when you feed it (for example drink the kombucha). But will the same thing (sleeping mode) if I raise the pH to 7.6? Or will such a high pH kill the bacteria? I like to spray it on horse

I checked the paper for the picture here - it is bacteria, but is there any way to check if these bacteria was alive?

Thank you Pharma! I asked for probiotic bacteria, so maybe (hopefully) it is bacteria. But I will ask them

I was sure silver ions is good for the skin - like treating acne and sore skin. So that is not true then? If I add 10% of the water phrase as silver iones ( and 90% water) - could that be effective as acne treatment? (I make my own silver water using a battery and pure silver rods.

Thank you all for your comments!! The cream has low melting point and it is O/W and aprox. 80% juice (waterphrase) and I now believe it is a mix of reasons that you have pointed out for me! I only made a small batch of 500 grams - using a stick blender since the batch was so small. - thank you!

In Norway - and the temperature is aprox. 21 degrees both day and night. Maybe there is no good answer of what happened with these jars. Could it be the plastic jar? Is that possibe?

I waited 5 days before I filled the small jars - temp. was 21 degrees and I filled from a small plastic bag with no air or dew, This happened after a few days. Is there any other suggestions what I did wrong - maybe with the recipe?

Thank you so much Dr Catherine - have you or someone tried Ethochel Standard 100 Premium (3% in MCT)?

You are right Sponge - I will try different dispersants to make an even “fluid” of zinc and titanium dioxide, and if I am satisfied, I share with you all. I think lots of the premade fluide SPF like Solaveil etc. feels so “fat” and thick to use in a moisturizer, and I have to use a lot of this stuff - maybe 20% in a cream. Hopefully I can develope a fluid SPF that is better for the skin.

Mark: Yes, I think you have a point there! I warmed “lots of” meadowfoam oil, and blend the ZnO powder and used it after maybe 6 hours. Is there any ecoapproved dispersant I can use? (This is a moisturizer - O/W, and not a typical sunscreen cream)

Thank you, but the company we used is professional, so I do not doubt the result of the test. But do you have any idea why 6% micronized zinc and also a lot of raspberry oil and jojoba oil is not more than maximum SPF3? Does the zinc “soak” into the skin since this is a moisturizer (O/W) and not sunscreen cream?
