    @Gunther, i just want to get a little more clarity on your article above. Since i make shampoos all who are around 1200 - 3000 mpas then i should use a 8mm hole at the bottom of the cup?

    why do say the surfactants make this sticky? You have a very low ASM?

    @belassi why would you take out the glyceral oleate? And would you substitute with lamesof

    the na2 edta is 4X more expensive here than the Na4 edta. Usage of 0.2% seems to be the most popular %

    @taher , polyquat 10 needs heating to disolve completely whereas you could get away using polyquat 7 as a cold process

    before becoming a belassi follower i used 10 + 2 CAPB + CDE without any issue for years. now just use LGC sorb + sodium cocoamphoacetate + CAPB

    @zaidjeber Thank you.
    @ perry. Thanks again.

    Using Mr Belassi’s advice i have reformulated a sles free shampoo. Am just trying to tweek the formulation to be able to have a comparable foam profile. This will help going forward.

    the South African market loves Argan. The marketing people has made it out to be the best thing since sliced cheese for ladies hair.

    you know mr Balassi and Perry are the super experts on this. I find what works best for me is about 1% panthenol because it is so expensive here. I have seen it as high as 3%. I use tiny amounts of argan oil

    Initially i was also stuck for a mixer as these type of model do not ship to South Africa. I eventually used a standard desktop drill press with a vsd attached. That worked well for some time until i needed a homogenizer. struggled for about 18 months to get a homogenizer from china or india as locally they just do the most expensive stuff in the world (Silverson). ended up buying at a distressed auction for a 10th of the second hand price.
