Good question. My mistake I forgot tell more about the texture of the jelly which I’m after. I try to do a big piece of firm elastic jelly that doesn’t break into small pieces when you wash your skin with it. In the recipe which I got was written that glycerin makes the showerjelly more elastic/flexible. If the water amount is higher, the jelly is more firm/hard but less elastic and it would break into pieces easier.

surfactant & preservative works well in cleansing formula where the water
& glycerin amounts are high?
