Im making a shampoo and i want to use peg 150 and no other thickener. I want to conquer this chemical. It wont dissolve in hot water, nor heated surfactants. So how does this chemical dissolve. Iv tried 2%, 1% and 0.5% but stil it clumps.

Iv just attempted to use peg150 distearate as a thickener in my shampoo. I added it to the heated water phase but it clumped. I used it at 2%

Iv recently purchased peg 150 and yet to try it. Does any1 have anything positive to say about peg 150. It was made for a reason and should beable to function. Looking for positive reviews on this 1
