@ngarayeva001 @Doreen actually industrialized TEA has purity > 99% so if DEA exist it will be go to 0 and Tromethamine is primary Amine wich also can give in some conditions second Amine wich is also nitrosamine so risk will be always exist ☺.

@Chemist77 @Doreen  actually elegance gel have great viscosity that soo difficult to reach it with only carbomer same for few other gels the commun point is they are all containing : castor oil or peg 40 castor oil.

@Muhammad7 you can increase the level of HEC to have more viscosity , change the type of HEC ( there are a lot type of HEC wich give different viscosity ) and finally you can think about other electrolyte resistant thickner .

@capsys the high level is not  for emulsion but to thick the product and even 23 % is not enough to give high fixation and thickness for product.

@Chemist77 about carbomer’s stability with polyquaternium actually i find source wich prove that with only 0,5 % of carbomer we can add 2% of polyquaternium 46 unfortently i can not have this type  of polyquaternium however i look forward to make such product … @ngarayeva001 that may can be interesting to you “hair gel with polyquaternium” actually it is one of my dream future product…

@ted  IPM and C12-15 alkyl benzoate can do a good job for reducing greasy effect.

@Dirtnap1 from searching i find that level of use (C12-15) is large between 1 % and 15 % so have you idea about best adequat level for hair wax styling ?

@basketsheva it depends on formulation but if you will use only et wax 1% will be very low level for good emulsion.

@Perry in hair wax you can not have good viscosity at level lower then 25% ceteareth 25 i already try it from 15 % to 30 % so 25 % is the minimum level to have acceptable fixation and viscosity.

@Chemist77 i will try it when i find Dimethicone and tell you about resultats , i will use silicone at 2 % level.
