@Kanuck you did not need emulsifier however the level of perfume is too high so try to make lower.

You are welcome @ngarayeva001 you did not see that shea butter or coconut oil can be better solution ? where you can preserve good hardness with more creamy texture.

October 26, 2019 at 8:12 am in reply to: Which Emulsifier?

@julzc very strange what happened cause soap supposed to mix oil with water in other way make oil in water emulsion so normally soap has emulsifier ability . What i suspect that maybe your soap is very diluted and you add a lot of castor oil that cause the seperation but really i’am not convinced by that suspection.
    Maybe @Pharma has a justification?

@crillz the level of wax is the most important thing , so for good level you can mix it with what you want.

October 22, 2019 at 1:33 pm in reply to: Hair Pomade - pH adjustment

@will  from the lol i will say that your oil phase seems to 100 % solids and that’s almost will give a bad resultas ( may it is the reason of white trace) , so try to find the best proportion between solid and liquid ( in oil phase ) , and for Acudyne 1000’s fixation i guess it is not about ph but almost adding oil phase to water phase will decrease the fixation effect so to lower oil level the better fixation effect.

From your lol i can see that you are doing good that’s why i’am ready for help, have nice work.

@crillz  with adequat level of oils and beewax  clay won’t sink to the bottom .
However if it is hair clay pomade, not mask i did not think that  Rhassoul clay is a good idea .
