@LuisJavier i think from 10 % to 50 % will be good if you have not problem to intrduce more water 10 % will be better cause the amount of NaOH will be more precise .

MemberJanuary 7, 2020 at 8:06 pm in reply to: How to reduce viscosity of this detergent liquid?@RedPill a lot of options can be done so i think the easiest as @Perry said adding NaCl but also adding AOS or by playing in pH you can do it . I think that the best way is taking one kilograms of your product add gram by gram NaCl untill you reach the desired viscosity , then you will find the best level of NaCl for you product , finally do correction to your batch refering to sample correction.

@Cafe33 So neutralizing 1.00g of Carbopol with 4.50 g of l-Arginine… Is that what the neutralization ratio means?
actually yes just becarfull of the concentration of initial product , so returning to table you will find NaoH has 18 % concentration same for KoH , TEA 99 % , Tris amino 40 % so if concentration change you should make the adequat amount knowing c1*m1 = c2*m2 wich gives m2= m1 * (c1/c2) . -
@Cafe33 thanks a lot for sharing your opinion , it is really very interesting and i agree with you for almost details said .

@Gunther thanks a lot for help i agree with you about the importance of essence quality however in my country there are a low cost perfume (means 10 dollars for a litre ) that can be last more then 24 hours. So the aim is making such product wich is for me high quality with a low cost .

@julzc very strange what happened cause soap supposed to mix oil with water in other way make oil in water emulsion so normally soap has emulsifier ability . What i suspect that maybe your soap is very diluted and you add a lot of castor oil that cause the seperation but really i’am not convinced by that suspection.
Maybe @Pharma has a justification? -
@crillz the level of wax is the most important thing , so for good level you can mix it with what you want.
