For more stable, glyceryl stearate citrate 2%
ceteareth 20 2.75%
both combined provide high tolerance % oil phase.
i like glyceryl stearate citrate because of its fragrance, emollient, emulsifier,

After reducing 0.5% from babassu and castor oil. But adding 1% of Shea butter. The grease is reduced and the cream is so nice.
but, I don’t understand why?

In my formulation, I used cetyl alcohol for thickening oils soluble and xanthan gum for thickening water soluble. After finishing, I tried on my skin, there are grease. But after two days, I tried it. It looks thicker but less grease.
i do not understand how the cream thicker and less grease. Does cetyl alcohol make the cream thicker after 2 days?
in the oil phase I used rosehip oils, sea buckthorn seed oils, jojoba oil, castor oil, and babassu oil.

Safflower oil has high percentage of omega 6
babasu oil has high percentage of Laurie acid
salisylic acid as @ngarayeva001 mentioned on other post.

I searched on google:
the increased sebum causes acne as @MarkBroussard.
Now what ingredients can reduce the sebum?
other documents on internet said that omega 9 > omega 6 causes acne
if formulation has more omega 6 and Laurie acid that can kill bacteria and control the sebum?

@J4ckbird, I love natural products but maybe 90% natural s the rest maybe non-natural.
here is simple natural conditioning bar.
Bmts-50
cetyl alcohol
babassu oil or coconut oil ( I like Babassu Oil)
shea butter or cocoa butter
natural oils you like
apricot oil
essential oil (you like)

@Chemist77, I have question to you that when I reduce the percentage of oil phase, do I need to reduce or to increase the percentage of emulsifier (same emulsifier)?
