Try it, have seen it behaving better than 25 ethoxylate.

Check the pH and adjust it above 7 although I am not sure why you have used LABSA at all if it so low. By the way what is your benchmark here?

If it is ceteareth-25 based then yes it will.

@johnb Ethocel 100 Premium is exclusively to thicken and gel oils especially Octyldodecanol and other oils with Octyldodecanol.
-
Ethocel 100 premium could be useful too.
-
Why do you want to use the polymer, why not go with the conventional ionic salt. Are you going to suspend something in the formula, generally I would skip it if going the conventional way.

Third I still feel an acute need of a proper emulsifier here, have you read the compatibility and incompatibility of KAD with your formula ingredients.

Try taking it it to a higher temperature and see if the bubbles subside.
-
Can you provide the formulation and procedure here so that it will be much easier to guide you.

It’s actually 2 hours but I suppose it’s still a very high drying time from your perspective.

Check out the evaporation rate of 0.65 CPS Dimethicone, gone in 24 hours completely.

It is indeed very nice gesture to complete the circle, corroborates the advices and opinions of the participating members.

The supplier has to provide that to you, they wikk submit the samples to SGS and the SGS will issue the certificate.

Try knocking out EDTA and if I were you I would check my preservative too. Nothing else seems out of place there if I am not mistaken.
-
Is that that the complete list as I don’t see a preservative there. That mixture you are using at times shows incompatibility in presence of electrolytes, cationics and anything which might harm the polymer.
-
The above 2 are gel formulations, check what you have closest against those ingredients and work your way out.
Carbopol Aqua SF-2 can be used too but the aeration is a big problem and the fell won’t be that good if you have to use in a dosage where a gel is formed. My opinion though!!!
-
I think it will be best if you do some trials and establish empirically how a cationic and anionic will react.
-
Any cationic will complex out with anionic though there are some milder ones which in moderation show some compatibility.
-
My only observation is that it looks like having a polymer as a thickener, can you post the ingredient listing too if possible.
-
@mrinal you have been chasing this product for such a long time and have started various threads for it. Can you please atleast tell us the benchmark so that we can point you in the right direction, will help save everyone’s time.
-
@Shubh123 that’s a cationic surfactant and when mixed with your anionic acid it gives a precipitate. Your principal is making you believe that it has exfoliating property where actually the complex just balls on skin when applied. Please note that cationic and anionic are highly incompatible, there is no way you could use them in a properly stable formula.
Take a sample of hair gel and add a little of that so called exfoliator. It will fall apart.
