you can see your mixture can be micible or into solution by try add hydrocarbon (paraffin oil) in to your mixture same volume with your propelant, if they stabile , thats good, if they separate, that also will happen in the can after you inject propelant

Combination between quat ( benzalkonium chloride) with nitrite it not wise, since trace ammount of amine compound with nitrite will lead to formation nitrosamine compound

For aerosol, since you use butane/propane gas for propelant, just make system solution or micible with hydrocarbon

Do not make system emulsion or suspension, or your system will breakdown after hydrocarbon incjection

For preservative, i will skip if my alcoholic compound more than 10%, because it already suficient for self preservation

For me, i do simultan test by test with rub both my palm to make same perception both hand then put same amount of product to palm hand then both hand crosses ( right hand rub left arm, left hand rub right arm) rub to my arm, then feel drag, and another perception during rubing my skin simultanously

Do not touch anything with you hand after rubbing and make same perception, ask somebody to put sample to both your hand

Yes that formula for aerosol air spray, dont use alot water since your oil parfume will separate, so when you spray only water part with low parfume content came out

If yes hair oil, you dont need to add water, just mix all oil based ingredient 
If you said for pomade, you will need alot wax subtance, solubilizer, and emulsifier, 

Please define you product first and see their formulation for similiar product.

Proxel 106 already robust preservation, are you used based on recomendation? 0.1-0.3% (1-3 ml/ kg product)?

its simple,just multiply your percentage in formulation with  total active matter, do for all kind of surfactant in your formulation
ex: 28 x 40%= 11.2%

For my first formula, total  surfactants amount by active matter  is 15.7, and for the second, 16.2. So it’s in the range of 12-18%

1st formula: 11.2 (SOS)+6 (CAPB)+1.6(DEA)+1.5(PEG 7 cocoate =20.3 total surfactant

2nd formula: 8.75 (25%*35% ALS)+3.9 (CAPB)+ 1(lauryl Glucoside) +1(coco-Dea)=14.6

Try to adjust you pH arround 6-6.5

Yup, its okay, silica fume or silicone dioxide often use as food additife as anticacking so do gelling agent too

did u mean ABS (alkyl benzene sulphonate)? each molecule LABSA (mw=329) need 3 molecule of lye (NaOH mw=40) just calculate it, it seem need 1540 gram NaOH, it should be resulted white with slightly yellowish paste
