I Think Aloe extract (liq.) has pH of 5 (aprx). So sodium carbomer can do better Gel.

Our supplier give us Aloe in gel form made with Xanthum Gum.

Try carbomer 940. not oily feel. adjust pH with TEA. also try combination of Carbomer940 with HPMC.

My formula.

Cetosteryl Alcohol 8%

Cetomacrogol 1000 2%

Preservatives

Sod. Met. Paraben & sod. Prop. Paraben,

EDTA.

Propylen glycol—3%

Petrolium Jelly-15%

Liq. Parafin-3%.

API-as label claim

(Skin cream containing Active Pharma Ingredient)

Well It’s cream base is fine for our pharma/some cosmetic products.

Is good to replace Cm1000 for Sorbitan Stearate?

you should try light liq. paraffin, Propylene Glycol.

for Topical use of herbal powder they should be in water soluble form.

They are available as Spray dry extract- Water soluble.

Kojic acid dpalmitate, alpha & beta Arbutin are also used as whitening agent. At lowest ph glycollic is more active.

LAL Test is generally for sterile products.

Zinc oxide & titanium dioxide combination is today’s trend in sunscreen.

Now it is marketed as chemical free sunscreen other sunscreens are carcinogenic.

Now it’s also trending Nano zinc costlier then normal Zinc oxide.

Normal Zinc oxide 10% sunscreen formulation is tough.

mainly texture & smooth application is challenging

Selenium Sulfide settled down at bottom.

My formula is as under.

Selelnium Sulfide-2.5%

SLES, COcodine, Cocobetaine Silicon oil, PG, BHT, BHA, Sod. Citrate, Citric acid,

GHPTC, Perfume , EDTA, PArabens, HPMC-0.5%, Water.
