    My Formula as under
    Zinc oxide 10%
    Vitamin E 1%
    Cetosteryl Alcohol  8%
    CM 1000 2%
    EGMS. 6%
    Hard Paraffin wax 0.5%
    Light Liq. Paraffin  10%
    Silicon Oil  1%
    EDTA 0.1%
    Glycerin 5%
    Benzyl Alcohol  1%
    Carbomar 940 1%
    Cyclomethicone 1%
    Sodium Citrate 0.3%
    Citric acid
    Preservative
    EDTA
    Problem:
    1. Too thick
    2. Separate oil.
    3. Texture not silky.
     pH=7
    Please help to improve this formula. It is presented in tube so required thick
    with good sensory.

    for thickness problem may
    decreasing level of cetostearyl alcohol and carbomer solve the problem.
    For separation and slicky problem i guess it is emulsion’s problem so you should calculate you required hlb then use adequat emulsifiers.

    Thank you @Fekher. I cut down Cetosteryl Alcohol & Carbomer to 1/2 & Try.

    I cut cetosteryl, HPwax, EGMS, Cm1000 to 50%. No change in carbomer 940.
    found result nearly as expected.
    The pH is 7 should i Add TEA for carbomer I added. will it form gel?
