  Why use multiple quats in a shampoo?

  I have noticed some big brands use multiple quats in their shampoos. For example, one shampoo has Polyquaternium-7, Polyquaternium-10, Polyquaternium-52, and Quaternium-80 in the ingredients list. Is there a good reason to use a mix of several instead of just one?

  They might just think they get a better feel or wet comb or something. I personally don’t think it is necessary.
