  • White specks when using Optiphen Plus

Hello all! I have narrowed it down through process of elimination that the optiphen plus is causing white specks in the end result of my gel formulation. I will attach a photo. I tried adding it to the water phase. I tried adding it to the oil phase. I  was adding it to the end of the process once the batch cooled some when I noticed it. So I made a few batches and added it in different phases (water phase, next batch oil phase) the result is still the same. How can I change this or would I need to change to a different preservative? Thanks

to get a better answer you may have to post your formula, and what is your final pH?
Optiphen plus should be miscible in water pH 6.

Thanks so much for responding! I had to change to a different preservative.
