  Which ingredients locate in surface between oil and water inside an emulsion?

  In n emulsion ingredients locate in 3 places. Oil, water and surface between oil and water. Am i correct in this?

  Oil soluble ingredients go in oil phase and water soluble ingredients go to water phase. Emulsifier do go to the surface between oil and water. 

  My question is what other ingredients other than emulsifier go to the oil/water surface?
  
  Where does fatty alcohol go? Oil phase or the surface with emulsifier?
