  Which components of sebum will not become water soluble when mixed with sodium hydroxide?

  Sodium hydroxide turns fatty acids into their salt form and makes them water soluble.

  If we mix sodium hydroxide with human sebum, which components of the sebum will turn in to salt form and become water soluble and which components will not become water soluble?
