  Where can I buy amp-acrylates?

  There’s a formula that calls for amp-acrylates and I am not finding it anywhere to buy. Is it under a different name? Thanks!

  Do you mean AMP-Acrylates/ XXX copolymer or crosspolymer? That is a family of rheological polymers, not a specific one. e.g. Rapidgel EZ1 (3V Sigma) is AMP-Acrylates/Isodecanoate Crosspolymer (& PEG-6). There are others too. AMP is there as a neutralizing amine.

  I see what your’e saying. So when a formula says AMP-acrylates we really aren’t sure which ones they are using. I’ll look into Rapidgel. I need that “fixative” for hair. Thank you.
