  What is the best technique of completely hydrating Natrosol 250 (Hydroxyethylcellulose) in Water ?

  Is it recommended to make a slurry with glycerin before adding it to the water phase?
  After adding it, will I start with high shear for 10 min. then, add Na OH, then mix in low shear for half an hour or more (How long will I mix in low shear)?
  What is the recommended concentration to make a clear gel? is it 0.5 to 1%?

  Increase the pH to 10 and it will hydrate in 2 minutes.
