What is the best product for curly, coily and kinky hair?

Hi!

I need help! is there anyone here who has formulated styling products for the above hair type? I am trying to figure out what is best for styling the above hair type? I am researching styling products for thick curly hair, especially for twisting, braids, cornrows etc. I want something that is not too heavy, moisturising, and defines the curls.

My research shows that the choices is between cremes (especially shea butter based creams) and gels.

Just wondering if this is all that exists? can you combine the two and have a cross between a creme and a gel?

The problem that I find is that the cremes available are too heavy and the gels can be too drying, any advice?

Any feedback or direction is welcomed…

Check Luviset One from BASF, great product for styling cream/gel fusion.

@Rahma, You may find it perfect solutions for this kind of product using Pemulen TR-1 or Pemulen TR-2. If you add some their hair fixatives you may get it even as a styling products.

@ Milliachemist, do you know of any product that uses Luviset One from BAS for this hair type?

Rahma I guess I saw some literature of Luviset One mentioning its use in Tuft and other similar big brands, rest assured it is quite promising and I too would be developing something similar pretty soon.

I tried BASF lab prototype sample of styling cream (cream and gel in one) and it felt great on hair.

I have found a really good company in the UK to make the products and I just want to give them a better brief and direction on the type of products that I want.

I can’t find something similar to what I want so I will have to explain it lol
