VITAMIN C SERUM COLOR CHANGE

A Vitamin c serum I formulate chages colour from clear to dark yellow within 2 months.Formula
Aqua 92.5%
3% Ascorbic Acid
1% Niacinamide
1% Germall plus preservative
2% Glycerin
0.5 xanthan gum.Any help please 🙏

This is normal for Vitamin C products because it is being oxidized.

The product is going to yellow regardless of what you add eventually. EDTA won’t offset that.Just use a more stable Vitamin C derivative. Cosmetic Science 101.

Why so much preservative? If Liquid, mfg recommendation is:
.1 to .5%
If powder:
.05 to .2%
