Your open mind has been appreciated. Sometime the newbies that float in…have been so indoctrinated from the mommy blogger sites….there is no helping them.

I want to hop on and say thanks to everyone as well! From those who are like living textbook with endless knowledge to share, to those who give blunt—and rock-solid—advice from their years of experience, to the intermediates with interesting questions that spark incredible discussions, the expertise and fellowship in this forum is so useful and so appreciated!
-
I also thank all the people who teach us good information and share there knowledge with us

Couldn’t agree more….It has been my life motto… Learn something new each day.
For what it is worth, I attribute 100% of what I have learned and created to this forum, and to several of the amazing chemist who inhabit it. What I knew before arriving…basically had to be ‘unlearned’. Granted I try and do some research before popping my questions…but there is so much conflicting information on line…that the only way to clarify it, is to have someone who has lived and breathed it, explain the ‘why’ of what I am experiencing.
Many cosmetic samples and Macadamia nuts have traveled from the shadows of Mauna Loa to the shadows of Uetliberg. And to that amazing friend…I could not have done it without you….but you already know that! Mahalo!

Thank you, that means a lot ???? I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated your willingness to always help me and to do so with such kindness. You’re awesome! ☺
As for the mommy blogger sites, here’s a quote that might be relevant ????:

Now that’s a nice post . Not many ppl. take the opportunity and “dare” to just say something nice. Very well appreciated

Graillotion said:… Learn something new each day…That one of the wisest sayings on earth. The other one I live by is ‘Taking fills the belly, giving fills the heart’. Turns out, give to the right people and you also get a full belly (true, a very unbalanced diet, all those mac nuts but once you tasted the dehydrated mac nuts you really don’t care  ).You’re welcome (and thanks for the thanks)! One can’t take knowledge and experience to the grave. Having people around who don’t just cherish but evolve when others share their intellectual legacy feels good, it makes me happy & gives my life a purpose. This giant ball we all live on could be so much of a better place when people wouldn’t only go for $$ (but mac nuts instead LoL).

@DrJekyll thanks ???? it’s just so nice to have a place that I can go to and ask questions and research topics and know that there is always knowledgeable, highly intelligent people that are so willing to take time out of their busy schedule to help me…like @Graillotion said, there is so much misinformation online so having this forum is truly invaluable to me!
@Pharma your knowledge and experience I get to appreciate two-fold! Through your direct help and also through the knowledge you’ve bestowed on your “Mac nut” supplier/pupil! I honestly would have gotten discouraged long ago in my venture into this industry had it not been for all the help @Graillotion has given me, as well as this forum. ????

Oh I didn’t forget @chemicalmatt ???? he’s up there in my initial post at the top…he is definitely one of the great minds on this forum!

Both @Bobzchemist and @Belassi are two individuals that I haven’t seen recently. The two of them have been around a long time and have contributed a lot of knowledge to this forum.

@abierose Aww I feel like I don’t really deserve to be in that list, but I’m glad you have found something I’ve said useful at some point! I’m not a chemist, but an avid skincare user, and I’ve also been trying my hand at making body creams due to nothing on the market working for my unusually dry body and hand skin. It’s become a slight obsession, trying to perfect the moisturisation performance and feel of this cream for my needs.
I’m also very grateful for this forum (and the archives!), for both the experienced chemists and formulators giving up their time to pass on their wisdom, and also the less experienced and hobbyists who ask the questions that bring up interesting discussions and solutions. I don’t really have anyone that I can bounce ideas around with in person, so this forum has been invaluable to me.
-
I still see @Bobzchemist and @Belassi on Facebook or maybe LinkedIn. I’ve always appreciated their input here. But no one gets paid to post here and I appreciate any input by anyone who has something to share on this forum.
-
@abierose I absolutely don’t deserve to be in the list, I’m a marketer with only basic formulating skill, but I’m glad you’ve found my input useful at some degree.
I thank you @Perry for this forum and @everyone for your priceless wisdom and contributions.
In this fast paced and sometimes deceptive industry, this is where I can stop by and read honest comments and learn very great things from professionals and highly intelligent people.
Also thank you everyone for not judging me and other for broken English.
Wish you all great health and safe, we will go through this pandemics together.

I just want to jump in and echo everything that has been said by everyone above.
I have been following this forum for a few months, became a member yesterday and put my first post up yesterday. I have gained so much from this forum over the past few months and not even 24 hours has past and I have already gained an understanding as to what I am doing wrong regarding one of my formulas! I have honestly been tearing my hair out with this formula and ended up feeling lost and deflated. I now feel refreshed with new ideas and now understand why something isn’t working. This is all thanks to you wonderful people who care and take the time to point out issues and stear people in the right direction.
You are all so knowledgable and this forum is such a wonderful idea. So thank you, so much.
-
I thank you @Perry for creating this forum.I also thanks all members of this forum.I am above 50 & I am Still Learning here.Great Learning Center.
Thanks again all.

Hey kids, thanks for all the kudos; and I have missed Belassi and BobZ too. I know Bob is still toiling away in the USA “Contract Manufacturing Vortex” where I’ve spent most of my career. Thanks for mentioning us all @abierose and you are most welcome. We can’t take it with us into the beyond, so Perry’s forum gives a vehicle for that knowledge share. I’ll extend my own gratefulness to @Bill_Toge, another crafty veteran like @MarkBroussard and myself. Bill has been a font of knowledge here.

Surfing through the archives and came across this post, so I had to chime in with my thanks as well. I wound up in the industry unexpectedly, and this has been a treasure trove of helps as I am scrambling to learn as much as I can as fast as humanly possible. What you do is very much appreciated, whether it’s asking the questions or answering them!
-
I just recently joined, and I am already very grateful too. I learned a lot more than expected just by reading older posts.
