SLS Powder 95% dilution
Hello everyone,I need to dilute SLS 95% powder to 28% solution. The problem i faced is too much foam when adjusting the PH to 5-5.5. Furthermore, it requires a lot of citric acid. In a small lab test it’s feasible but how to go about it in large batches.I’m willing to invest in proper equipment if necessaryThank you -

Did you use heat at all? why are you adjusting the PH- is this for the final formulation?
Depends on how large your large batch is, but a jacketed kettle with sweeps and vacuum would likely help.

yes i used heat. Adjusting the PH is necessary to use it in my shampoo formulation . The initial PH was around 10.Batch: 500 kg
