  SLS and SLES surfactant optimum pH range

  What is the optimum pH range for SLS and SLES surfactants in Shampoo?
  Can they work in pH 4-5?

  You should keep in mind that the viscosity will be pH sensitive. At pH 4-5 the viscosity will be higher compared to pH 6-7.
