SLES, SLS and Coco Betaine Ratio In Shampoo
Posted by Hamaadali008 on January 13, 2021 at 5:05 pmGreetings,
I have been struggling for quite some time trying to figure out the ratio of sles, sls and coco betaine. But every time i ended up creating a too drying shampoo. No matter what i do my shampoo strips more oil than i would like it to. Please give some suggestions.
Here are the details of above written chemicals
SLES 70%
SLS 100% (Powdered)
Coco Betaine 30%Abdullah replied 2 years, 4 months ago 4 Members · 7 Replies -

Provide more detail about what you have tried (e.g. formulation, percentages).
You have provided essentially no detail other than some chemicals you own. -

What is the pH of your Shampoo?
These ingredients at these percentages are not drying -
My be it is because of your preservative system.
This preservative doesn’t look enough for me -

PH of the solution is 5.5 to 6.5 -
I think you need to reduce SLS maybe it would be better if you don’t use it.
try to increase PQ7 to 0.75% -
I haven’t tried Dimethicone, Titanium dioxide and Propylene glycol but the rest i have tried and it is not drying at these ratios for me.
