  Anyone help/ give advice for silicone elastomer replacement? I need to find an ingredient to replace silicone elastomer feel….

  I have a similar response as the one I gave kfox - I need some more info:

  
  

  1) Why do you want to take out the silicone elastomer, i.e., is it too expensive, or are there other reasons? Do you need a “natural” ingredient or can I suggest synthetics? 

  2) Is the silicone elastomer you want to replace a powder or a pre-made gel?

  3) What function is the silicone elastomer performing in your product? Is it just for feel, or is it emulsifying or suspending as well?

  4) What kind of product is this going into?

  
  

  Last, but hardly least - Do you just want a few raw material suggestions, or do you want to find out how to do the research to get this info yourself?
