Self tanner+ Radish Root
Posted by KimberlyLars on May 6, 2022 at 7:59 pmI’m doing some work with DHA and found it in combination with Radish Root in a handful of different products. I can’t find any reasoning for this. Anyone maybe know of a reason why?

Just guessing…but they probably purchased it that way from a supplier. So came as a blend. And the supplier led them to believe the radish root was preserving it (the blend)?
Are there any other ingredients that are common is all the formulas?
Just a guess.

In this product they are using it as a poor preservative.
So, if it’s a product produced by a small company they are probably under the delusion that they want to avoid functional preservatives that sound scary. Instead they use the inferior, unreliable system with radish root ferment.

I think I was mistaken- by omission. Radish Root Ferment Filtrate is in the following products:
Beauty by Earth Self Tanner Mousse
Thermalabs Natural Self Tanner
LUMI ORGANIC MOISTURIZING GRADUAL SELF TANNERDr. Dennis Gross Skincare- Alpha Beta® Intense Glow Pad Self-Tanner for FaceThe preservative idea makes sense as it’s found in the last few ingredients.
