Seeking Chemists to Formulate 10-Free Nail Polish Line + Foot Care Products
Posted by Anonymous on September 7, 2019 at 11:04 pmHello, I am starting a “clean” nail line and am seeking chemists to help formulate “10-free” nail polish and supporting products (nail polish remover, callus remover, etc. All interested parties please respond below. Thank you in advance.

I see no-one replied.
FYI there is a very good science-based article on nail varnish and removers today, thanks to Specialchem. -
I have not been here for a while, are you saying you want free formulation?

Maybe the OP meant “Tin-Free” … unless the OP is looking for someone to formulate 10 formulas free of charge so the OP can then make money selling the formulas to their clients without paying the chemist who developed them?
If it’s the latter, no wonder no one replied.

Tin free, oh that would make him a New-Zealander!

I suspect “10 free” means free of the 10 vilified ingredients found in nail products as in https://www.mentedcosmetics.com/blogs/the-ment/whats-7-free-nail-lacquer .

Oh I get it, although that site said ‘mented’ did they mean ‘demented’?that’s how I feel after working with surfactants all day. Hostapon paste did something that was not expected, it was a frustrating day indeed!

Perry a client said she wanted the product to have A,B,C and transparent but obviously that did not happen for me and I think I stared at it so long wishing it would go clear….
