Salt, Alcohol or both?
Which, or both, would be best to add that would keep water frozen longer. I’m trying to make a gel pack to ship with products to keep them cold, longer… but not to freeze the product. Thanks!

Neither. Alcohol and salt both lower the freezing point. You’d freeze the product. If it is really important to keep a low temperature, you’d need to use a packaging technique for that. An alternative would be to package with some solid CO2 again using a proper package design but since CO2 is released I doubt postal authorities or couriers would accept it over the counter. Here in Mexico the post won’t even accept creams or gels.
