We are in the beginnings of formulating a serum with Retinal. We’ve tried Retinol and prefer the more gentle approach that Retinal takes.

We’ve only found Sigma selling this in pure powder form at $247/gram. Yikes!

Does anyone know who else would sell retinal (Retinaldehyde)? In need of this item. Thanks!!!

You’re going to have to source Retinal from China if you want it in bulk.

we are deciding whether to get the powder or liquid form of Retinal. Is the powder difficult to deal with? Reconstitution in Glycerin/Di Water would be enough?

Just my personal perspective, but Retinal is a non-starter for me as an ingredients for a variety of reasons … high cost, supply from China, stability issues.  I have not dealt with the powder, but I suspect it is oil-soluble not water-soluble, but I could be wrong on that specific point
