Hi I have been working on a formula and I’m getting really close to where I’m happy with it but I know I need to adjust it somehow. I want it to be more matte than it currently is and my partner tends to lean towards the clean side with his formulations. I am guessing I need to add silica to the formula or potentially cut the beeswax back and add some pvp vp/va or some copy polymer  Here is my recipe so far and then the product that I’m trying to emulate but with my own spin on it.

     Water 40oz

    Bees wax 30oz

    Soy wax 20oz

    Borax. 2

    Potassium Sorbate .1

    Avocado butter  1cup

    Aloe oil 1cup

    Bentonite clay 1oz

    Kaolin Clay 2oz

    Arrowroot powder .5oz

    Lecithin 5oz

The ingredient list of the other product

Water/Aqua, VP/VA Copoloymer, Lanolin Wax, Tribehenin, Bentonite, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 40-B, Beeswax, Tridecyl Stearate, Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Mineral Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, PVP, Peg-40 Hyfrogenated Castor Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Fragrance (Perfume).
