Raw material storage advice for - small start up
Sorry I need to ask another question. This time about storing the raw materials. As a home-based starting out formulator I don’t have funds to invest in a lab refrigerator.
I just ordered a few raw materials which include refined oils, extracts and emulsifiers. Expiry dates are for next year to 2022. We are heading into summer. Where I live it gets very hot and dry weather not humid which I think its a plus. So should I have all the oils and actives in the fridge or leave it in a nice cool room on the shelf. As always thanking all the formulators in advance.
