    Hello all ,

i would like to ask you for sugesstion how to get rid off spots of GHTC. I was see in finish product there are little spots and i asumed it comes from GHTC.
So i used 0.2g of GHTC and 99.8g of water. I heat it to 70 C and mixed with wortex. I slowly added GHTC and was mixing for 15 min. I can see those spots and i am posting picture. Any idea how can i make it completly clear, without those little dots/spots?

TRY At least 30 minutes high speed Stirring required wit hot water. Or  suspend in glycerin and then water.

I add citric acit in water befor i put in vortex so it swell better. But check ph.
Trying for shower gel, but wondering if i am better with sodium PCA and sodium lactate.

    Thx

Try to add lactic Acid before the ghtc, around 0.1-0.3%

Citric acit did not help/work. Will try tomorrow with lactic acid. With 0.2 and 30 min mix at 70 celsius. Lets see.

try adding it to cold water - it sounds like it’s hydrating too quickly

Hello, my experience with Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, I use 3-5% glycerin to make a nice suspension of guar, then I had it VERY slowly to the water at RT, does the trick every time … 🙂  Good luck

I left our ghtc and replace with sodium pca, lactate and adding sucrose cocoate, but when i add sucrose cocoate it thich whole formula, quite a lot. Do i need to disperse it in soluble surfactant eg.coco glucoside ?
