  Powdered wax vs flakes/beads

  Hello,

  Im formulating a cream blush and am looking to make it less waxy and have a drier afterfeel. I see that some companies offer powdered waxes such as carnauba wax, rice bran wax, beeswax, etc. Do these have any absorbing properties or is it just for more uniform melting?

  Other than this my other option would be to use a silica

  Any tips appreciated
