  • Powdered surfactants: Non-ionic and Amphoteric?

Has anyone found a good source for non-ionic and/or amphoteric powdered surfactants?

I see tons of powdered options for anionics (and some cationics), but have yet to find anything useful for the other types. I’m trying to create some waterless formulas and would love to have these to round out my surfactant blends. Looking for a sultaine, betaine, or amphoacetate for an amphoteric and a glucoside as a non-ionic, but I’m wide open on suggestions if anyone knows of any other types.

    Thanks again everyone!!!

I just saw a mention of “dry” cocamidopropyl betaine, a quick search showed that it does seem to be available as a powder. No idea about formulating with it though.

Thanks @Agate! I don’t know about formulating with it either, but I’ll be sure to share any info if I’m able to get my hands on anything.

I saw a mention of it as well, but seemed like a dead end. I did find one supplier in the EU selling it, but they don’t ship to the US. :(

elemental.eu say they have it, according to their website they will ship to the USA for €19.99. :)

Thanks @Agate! That’s the one I saw as well. Not sure why I thought they wouldn’t ship here but I’ll definitely give it another look!

Have you found anything of those surfactans in powder? I can just find CAPB from China.
