Piroctone olamine has almost the same MIC as IPBC for Aspergillus brasiliensis and it Candida albican according to supplier data.<div>

If i use it as preservative combined with phenoxyethanol and EDTA at pH 4-4.7, what amount of piroctone olamine will have the same antifungal activity as 100ppm IPBC in same type of formula?

Familiar with Piroctone olamine as a dandruff active - it’s another hydroxamate chelator. Not much experience as preservative - efficacy, stability, formula interactions, water quality- cations

There are claims that piroctone olamine also reduce hair fall and make hair shaft thicker. Thare they true?

I’ve heard the same for ZPT - data did not support. What are the data for piroctone?
