  Phenylpropanol EHG with Caprylyl Glycol EHG?

  Hello,

  I am having a hard time picking a preservative for my OW emulsion and my gel cleanser with surfactants. I’ve used Linatural Ultra 3 from Lincoln and like it, however, I haven’t gotten a challenge test yet because the MOQ is so high on this product.

  I am considering blending Phenylpropanol EHG and Caprylyl Glycol EHG from Making Cosmetics. Phenylpropanol EHG says it is broad spectrum, but I have my doubts. Has any one used this blend? I don’t want to use phenoxyethanol and I don’t like the smell of benzyl alcohol or GSB preservative. Thank you for your help!!
