Phenoxyethanol Paraben blend

2. At what percentage can methylparaben and ethylparaben be solubilized in phenoxyethanol?
3. Is there any incompatibility between parabens and SLES or APG?
4. What percentage of phenoxyethanol/Paraben blend is enough to protect this Shampoo formula?
Water, SLES, CAPB, APG, Glycol distearate, guar gum, polyquaternium 10, EDTA, lavender essential oil.

Shampoo - then methyl parabens. But I’m not offering that it will be effective. This you must determine.

It has never came to my mind to use phenonip in shampoo. Probably because most of surfactant products I make are cold process. No one stops me from heating it though. I will try this!

Efficacy can not be presumed. One must demonstrate by challenge testing. I’m not recommending the stuff - my answer was in response. If one must use a paraben in a shampoo, use methyl.
