  • pH STABILITY OF BETAINE AND ALLANTOIN

Posted by Emily2001 on May 24, 2023 at 5:22 am

I am trying to formulate an exfoliating serum in which I have used different types of AHAs, BHAs and PHAs.

I have maintained the pH around 3.3.

Along with acids I have used betaine, sodium pca and allantion in the formulation, but I am worried about the pH stability of betaine, sodium pca and allantoin. Please let me know in case of any known instability at lower pH or known reactions with Lactic, Glycolic, Mandelic, salicylic acid and gluconodeltalactone.

    Thanks In advance 🙂
