    Hello Experts

Can we use only the neutralized sulphonic acid as detergent in paste form? the ph comes around 9. will it damage the fabric or is it safe to use?

If the pH is around 9, then the Sulfonic acid is mostly neutralized, and you have a sulfonate instead, which is the actual detergent. Sulfonic acid has less surface activity hence is a poorer detergent.

Yes i have neutralized the LABSA 96% by Caustic Soda 99% on 7:1 basis.. The ph now is about 9.4. I actually require the detergent in thick paste form. I tried adding CDEA but it gives shampoo type viscosity. So that is why posted here whether simple neutralized LABSA 96% will do the job

The only thing that comes to mind so you can get a paste is to add solids in powder form (carbonato, sulfatos, etc)
