  Natural Gum Thickeners with Best Skin Feel?

  Which natural gum thickener (xantham, guar, tara, etc.) tends to provide the most pleasant skin feel in O/W topical body care formulations in your experience and/or opinion?

  Any opinions, comments or discussion about the impact that different natural gum thickeners have on the subjective skin feel pleasantness characteristics of topical body care lotions and creams would be greatly appreciated.

  This will be simply a matter of opinion!

  My opinion is… Solagum AX.

  For me….the AMOUNT included is the biggie.  I never exceed 
  .25% gum.  I pair gum/s with polymeric emulsifiers like Aristoflex AVC, and Zen, and a kiss of sodium carbomer…and you can make magic.

  I don’t like gums, but from a few that I tried siligel is not bad.

  Xanthan gum also comes in a variety of types, and this one is okayish too
