    Hi,

I’m having trouble with mixing colorants in lipstick. Can I use titanium dioxide powder with micas and iron oxides or do I need to use titanium dioxide as liquid?
Also, what is the best method to combine the colorant phase in solid lipstick and liquid lipstick making?

yes, you can use powdered TiO2 with iron oxides and micas.

how to combine the colorant phase depends on what else is in this phase. mix by hand? heat to melt?

Mix by hand, I bought a whisk but I was thinking that I probably would need a hand mixer…
