  Mica, Pigment, Flake, or Dye for basic colored nail polish?

  I’m brand new to indie polish (frankenpolish) making and would like some direction/advice. What is the most popular medium for coloring the nail polish? I’m asking about a basic, creme nail polish without additives (glitter, etc.) What would be used for the color? Mica, pigment, flake or dye? I understand I need the base clear polish, of course. But, it’s the color mix-ins that I’m not sure about. If someone has a link or suggested literature for polish recipes, that would be wonderful as well. Thank you in advance!

  You can use pigment colour
