I’m trying to dissolve the antioxidant Acetyl Zingerone in MCT oil before mixing with my water phase to produce a transparent face serum. The melting point of Acetyl Zingerone is around 80 C, and I found that it dissolves in MCT oil in 5-10 minutes at 85 C. I can also dissolve it in 12 hours at 40 C.

I’d prefer the faster route, but I’m not sure if MCT oil will oxidize at 80 C in those 10 minutes. I’m also having trouble finding processing guides or information about temperature tolerance outside of cooking guides. Are there any concerns about heating MCT oil to 85-90 C?
