    Hi Fellas!
I’ve problem w/ my formulation about Matte Lip Cream, for the last feedback of panel test is my formula still give a velvet matte after finish (which is the user need a formula who’s give a medium power matte finishing but with still liquidy texture). Here is a ingredients list of Matte Liquid Lipcream Base that I’ve formulated.

Isododecane, Diisostearyl Malate, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Ceresin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Simmondia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil.

FYI, I used diisostearyl malate about 22%, Ceresin about 5%, and I used Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate for dispersing agent to dissolves color. For my question is,
    1. Does diisostearyl malate (which is for %tage is large enough) give a velvet effect on my formula?
    2. I used trimethylsiloxysilicate for a film forming (silicon resin), also I used Isododecane for Solvent (also give a matte effect), why still give a velvet matte effect?

Has anyone here who can give me advice on my question above? Thank you so much?
